The Price: Rent $555, Internet $84/2, Hydro - Roughly $40/2 every 2 months.
The Unit: With hardwood floors and picture windows, the apartment is filled with natural light and fresh air. The bedroom you will occupy has big bright and new windows and a double bed (if you want it). The bedrooms are located in opposite ends of the apartment so you can enjoy your privacy.
The kitchen is well-equipped with a coffee machine, blender, oven, stove and a microwave. There's enough dishes and utensils so you won't need anything in addition to what's already here. Pay per use washer and dryer in the building ($2.50/load). Unfortunately, there are no more parking spots available for the lot. You may park on the street though.
The Neighbourhood: The location of the apartment is ideal. It is a 5 minute walk to Fort Street (Bus#15, 14, 11 and 22), 10 minutes to Cook Street Village (groceries, bars, shops and cafes) and 15 minutes to downtown Victoria. YMCA is also 2 blocks away.
Available for October 1st. An earlier move in is possible. I would prefer someone who is either looking to stay until at least the end of December or the end of April.
No smokers, No pets and No Parties. References are required for the building manager.
About me: I work full time 5 days a week. Outside of work, I'm into running and squash. I'm respectful, considerate and very clean and would like a roommate that shares these qualities.
