Charming antique (Victorian) gift book first edition.. "A Bunch of Roses". Arranged and illustrated by Susie B. Skelding, with poems by prominent authors. Published by White, Stokes, & Allen, New York; xxxx. Poetry of the day, accompanied by (4) full page color lithographs of flowers: pink roses, tulips, passion flowers, and yellow roses with heliotrope and mignonette. Apx 9 1/4" X 8 1/4". The cover features a gorgeous chromo of a bunch of colorful roses, with delicate lilies of the valley and ferns in the border. Offered as found ~ the silk ribbon is in good shape and the original fringe is still intact and whole. The interior pages are toned, but clean; and the illustrations are gorgeous!
